At Black’s Carpet Discount, we aren’t like other flooring stores. We are a working warehouse with over 500,000 feet of carpet and over 100,000 square feet of waterproof luxury vinyl plank and tile in stock. Our buying process allows us to sell our customers quality, name-brand flooring at discounted prices. Our family-owned business has been helping customers with flooring needs for over 50 years. Scott and Florence Black opened Black’s Floor and Wall Center on Kingshighway in Saint Charles, Missouri, in May of 1968. Their son, John Black, worked summers in the store until graduating from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1971. John purchased the business in 1976, then in 1978 opened Black’s Carpet Discount. He has been continuing the tradition of helping customers with their flooring needs ever since. Much of our staff has been with the company for 20 to 30 years, and collectively, we offer more than 100 years of experience in the flooring business.
